Play Therapy Services
Supporting children, teenagers and families through creativity, play and connection
Individual Play Therapy
I offer 1:1 sessions for children, travelling into schools or family/child centres. For sessions to have an impact, a minimum of 15 sessions is needed.
These sessions are between 30 and 45 minutes long and are based on a child-led, non-directive approach. This allows the child to explore at their own space, using the toolkit provided. I use materials such as paint, clay, sand, puppets and instruments in the confidential space.
Group Play Therapy
I offer sessions for small groups of children based on different themes, such as transition, self-esteem or loss.
These sessions are usually 45 minutes long and are held for 6-10 weeks. The sessions give children opportunity to explore feelings creatively with their peers in a safe space, using the play therapy toolkit.
I offer parents opportunities to discuss how to strengthen their relationship with their children. As a parent child attachment play provider (PCAP), I use a play model with 3 key steps to help you strengthen your parent child connection.
This can be a one off session or a set of sessions.
Parental Support

Play therapy for Schools

When booked for a full or half day, I complete pre and post questionnaires with staff and families, as well as regular communication regarding the process, whilst protecting the confidential nature of the sessions.
Half Day
I can offer a half day of services working with up to 3 children individually or groups. A consistent space and time is necessary as an important part of the therapeutic process.
Full Day
I can offer a full day of services working with up to 5 children individually or groups. A consistent space and time is necessary as an important part of the therapeutic process.
Mental Wellbeing Workshops
I can offer pupils and staff workshops on a variety of topics, using creative materials to explore a topic of your choice. Examples of topics include: emotional literacy, self-regulation, building resilience.
CPD
I can offer staff CPD on various topics such as mental health, attachment, the importance of play and using creative materials to explore different topics.
Parent Workshops
I can offer sessions with parents to support them in their parenting journey. Discussing how to connect with children through play can help parents strengthen their connection with their children.
